My top three goals upon starting the health coaching program were to have more energy, reduce my sugar cravings and lose weight.
Amabel was able to help me work toward my health goals by working through them one step at a time so that I didn’t feel overwhelmed.

The biggest tangible change I’ve noticed has been the lack of sugar cravings in the afternoon. This was a real issue for me and I relied on more sugary snacks to get me through the afternoon when I felt tired. These have now gone and it’s such a relief! Another change is my weight which has dropped since following Amabel's recommendations and understanding better the science behind them.
Since the programme I have felt much healthier in general and in particular much more positive about my diet. I don’t want to put things into my body now that aren’t going to be beneficial. Amabel is a wonderful, caring person who is extremely good at putting people at ease and listening to their needs. She is so good at giving the right amount of information so that it never felt overwhelming. Amabel was able to help me work toward my goals by suggesting practical tips and solutions, helping me work out how to implement them and overcome any barriers, and teaching me more about nutrition and health so I was able to understand the principles to take forwards. She was supportive, organized, easy to talk to, and always focused on my needs and goals.
The biggest success as a result of the program has been having good energy levels throughout the day (without any afternoon slumps), and also craving sweet things less and finding that viruses only last a day or two. The most significant overall change I’ve noticed has been feeling more confident in the food I’m eating and the food I’m feeding my family, and being more aware of what we’re eating in each meal.
I would describe Amabel as thoughtful, knowledgeable, organized, collaborative, and supportive. I would recommend Amabel to anyone who is ready to make changes to their attitudes or behaviours around health and diet. As with any coaching, you will get the most out of it if you have capacity to work hard outside of sessions as well as in them!

I started the health coaching program not really completely understanding how this might aid me but was interested in seeing were the journey might lead.
To my surprise the regular contact and conversation, discussing new ways to look at my physical and emotional connection to the outward manifestation of symptoms, was insightful. I discovered that with a bit of effort and record I could establish a better knowledge of how I can help myself, and also understand what I might eliminate or introduce.
